WINCHESTER MODEL 1873 MUSKET BAYONET

The bayonet is unique in that it has the bridge set along the obverse side of the socket rather than along either the upper or lower sufaces. The very short shank is a WInchester design. It is extremely well made. Blade 17 7/8" long, "3/4" wide and 5/16" thich. It is finished bright and is unmarked (Correct!!) No scabbard. It will only fit the .44 Cal. Winchester Model 1873 Musket. Excellent condition! Ref. AM.BAY/Hardin p.56,57.
