WHITNEY - KENNEDY FOUR PIECE CLEANING ROD

Cleaning (wiping) rods were made in different lenghts for the Musket, Sporting Rifle and Carbine. This original four piece steel rod with a brass head and a slotted steel tip for the cleaning rag is one for the Sporting Rifle. The four piece steel with a brass head and a slotted tip are typical with minor variations. Excellent condition, very difficult to find!! REF.Maxwell p.231/4-89.
