CIVIL WAR ERA BINOCULARS IN LEATHER CASE
Field glasses are leather wrapped brass. Leather is fully intact and shows just a few scuff marks. Optics are not good. Original leather case has some light crazing and surface dirt, but is strong and stitching is tight. Case is lined in blue velvet which is intact. Five small leather loops; one on top of lid, one oneach side of case and two on bottom of case. No straps present. Field glasses measure approx. 4" high x 4 ½” across at the widest point. Case measures 4 ½” high x 5 ¼”wide across at the top. No maker’s mark. Fine condition.
