COLT MODEL 1884 LIGHTNING MEDIUM FRAME RIFLE
#58274. Cal.38-40 WCF. Standard 26 Octagonal barrel. Has a nice brown patina with generous traces of blue in protected aerea's and on frame. Oil stained walnut stocks, checkered fore ends. Standard front and rear sight. Buttstock has a small hairline crack on the right side near the upper tang, and a small wooden insert near the toe of the buttplate. Mechanically excellent and has a fine bore. Made in 1891. Total production 89.777. Good honest gun in a used but overall fine condition. Cartridges shown for information purposes only.
