#2259P. Cal. 22 SH/L Rim Fire. 2-3/8" Barrel. 7 shot. Retains 99% of the original full nickel finish. Early "First Model" "WITH" integral ejector and "HIGH" hammer. Varnished walnut grips (Left grip has a hairline crack that is hardly noticable). First type of barrel address marking. Barrels were initially manufactured with or without integral ejctor, this design was discontinued in the serial range #3000 to #3500! Mechanically perfect, bore and cylinder chambers are as new. Matching serial numbers. Made in 1871, first year of production! Total quantity of 114.200. Rare gun in near mint condition.
