#3857. Cal. 41 Short Rim Fire. Single shot. 4" Barrel. Model No. 3, also called "Saw Handle Deringer". Blue finish. 80% of the original finish remains. 3 numbers of serial number 857 present under barrel, full #3857 on the frame under the grips. Mechanically ??? Bore ??? Walnut grips in excxellent condition. Quantity estimated around 14.000. Manufactured from1864 untill the late 1870's when the production ended. This pistol was probably made in the "early" 1870's.
